Terms and Conditions of TASTE OF SICILY LTD, operating the website www.diforti.com

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before ordering any Products from our site. You should understand that by ordering any of our Products, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Please tick the checkbox in the shopping basket to accept these terms and conditions. Please understand that if you refuse to accept these terms and conditions, you will not be able to order any Products from our site.

By placing an order through our site, you warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years old;
  • You are resident in Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland).

We operate the website www.diforti.com. We are Taste of Sicily LTD, a company registered in the UK.

Our site is only intended for use by people residing in Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland).

At present we do not deliver to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man or the Channel Islands, therefore we do not accept orders from the above mentioned countries.

After placing an order on our site, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we will confirm acceptance to you by sending you an e-mail that confirms that the products have been dispatched.

Your order will be fulfilled by the delivery date set out in the email Dispatch Confirmation.

We will make delivery to your address as stated when you set up an account or you can select an alternative address at the checkout by selecting “ship to a different address”.

We reserve the right to refuse to accept orders from any customer; considerations of delivery problems may give rise to such a refusal. Any changes to address details must be made before the order deadlines published on our Website.

You are responsible for making suitable arrangements to receive your delivery and giving us appropriate instructions. In the event that your delivery is stolen from your doorstep or damaged while there, we do not accept liability, and will offer compensation at our discretion.

If we are unable to deliver to you, or have to deliver late, for reasons beyond our control, for example adverse weather conditions, strike actions, vehicle breakdown, traffic congestion or supplier failure, we cannot accept liability for any inconvenience or loss that this causes.

You must inspect the Products as soon as possible after delivery and notify us the day of receiving the goods if you find any defects, by calling us, emailing us or writing to us at the telephone number or email address shown on our Website. We will replace or refund you for defective Products.

The ownership of the Products ordered on our site will only pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of the Products, including the delivery charges.

At diforti.com we service currently supply over 500 different chilled and ambient products to individual customers throughout the UK (including Northern Ireland) 6 days a week. Using our own vehicles or a specialist courier, our chilled range of premium deli products is carefully packed and sealed in insulated boxes/bags. This will ensure your products will remain at the correct temperature for at least 48 hours after dispatch. Once you have placed your online deli order the delivery wheels are set in motion.

From ordering to your home in less than 48 hours in most cases. Depending on your postcode and item availability, order before 12:00pm, and receive your goods the next day. As many of our products are refrigerated we do not dispatch on Saturday otherwise the goods will be held in the courier’s warehouse for too long, so if you’re placing an order on Saturday and Sunday, you’ll receive your order on Tuesday.

The table below will show you the earliest delivery date for your order using our standard delivery service. If you wish to receive your delivery on a Monday you can give us a call and we will try to do our best to meet your request. You can also schedule your delivery up to 60 days time in advance.
