Produced and bottled by the Castello di Tassarolo Winery of the Marquesses Spinola, Tassarolo, Piedmont (Italy)
Production area: selected vineyards in the Municipality of Tassarolo, located in the region of Gavi DOCG production, in Piedmont.
Soil: Marly, clayey, calcareous, poor in organic matter.
Altitude: 300 meters s.l.m.
This wine comes from 100% Barbera grapes, a vine that has always played a leading role in Piedmont. In this case it owes its harmony and its balance to the particular quality of the grapes that come from vines worked with draft horses, which make it a unique wine. The grapes are accompanied in the process of vinification respecting their nature to the maximum, from the fermentation that occurs with indigenous yeasts of our land.
Color: purple red with garnet reflections.
Bouquet: Ethereal, wild berries and cherries.
Taste: warm, soft, round and balanced in all its aspects
