The tomatoes are only harvested when they are deep red and full of sunshine. Only at this fully ripe stage do the Sicilian tomatoes develop their incomparable aroma. They are carefully picked by hand and processed directly within a few hours in order to preserve the valuable ingredients. This passion and care make the tomato sauce a very special treat!
